l10n daemon script b7ea4a358c SVN_SILENT made messages (.desktop file) - always resolve ours 
In case of conflict in i18n, keep the version of the branch "ours"
To resolve a particular conflict, "git checkout --ours path/to/file.desktop"

Bart De Vries ebdb8c9cdf Disable failing qt6 tests on release/23.08 branch 
This branch is qt5-only anyway due to the QML code not being compatible.
The test had only been enabled to keep an eye on the compatibility of
the c++ code before the master branch switched to qt6-only.

Bart De Vries ea5d01043d Remove network connectivity check 
Apparently in some cases the network manager is incorrectly signaling
that the system is offline while it's actually online. The current
implementation does not have a way to circumvent that incorrect
reporting. Also the error reporting made it seem that the actual
problem is a metered connection. Ripping out the connectivity check
solves these issues at the expense of connections timing out rather than
the connection not being set up in the first place when the system is
offline.
