Blink

[!CAUTION] This is an alpha-version piece of software. It is not intended to be used neither by the general public nor by testers. Due to its incompleteness, issues shall be mostly ignored and no support will be provided until a beta version will be available. Thanks for your patience.

What is it?

Blink is a privacy-respecting business-oriented social media platform focused on fostering connections between businesses and individuals, propelling careers and sparking innovation in the professional world.

Think of it as an open-source alternative to LinkedIn.

Usage

If you're an individual you can use one of the available instances. If you're a developer you can either set up your own infrastructure, or just set up a front-end using another instance's APIs. Consult the Wiki for further details. The wiki is not written yet

How to show your support

This software is free, embodying both the principles of 'free' as in 'free beer' and 'free' as in 'free speech'. However, this does not come free of costs for the author(s). Therefore, your invaluable cooperation would be greatly appreciated. For instance, you could:

  • Help us spread the word 📢
  • Show your support by starring us on GitHub 🌟
  • Improve the code 💻
  • Contribute financially to our efforts on Ko-Fi. However, we kindly request this only if you have already contributed to more critical humanitarian causes.
