# Brave Privacy Settings
Go to Settings
## Appearance
- Show top sites in autocomplete suggestions: Off
- Show Brave suggested sites in autocomplete suggestions: Off
- Always show full URLs: On
## Shields
- Default View: Advanced View
- Trackers and ads blocking: Aggressive
- Upgrade connection to HTTPS: On
- Block scripts: Off
- Cookie blocking: Only cross-site
- Fingerprinting blocking: Strict (If you face any issues with sites, change it back to standard)
## Privacy and security
- Autocomplete searches and URLs: Off
- Use Google services for push messaging: Off
- Allow privacy-preserving product analytics (P3A): Off
- Automatically send daily usage ping to Brave: Off
- Help improve Brave's features and performance: Off
#### Cookies and other site data
- Block third-party cookies
- Send a "Do Not Track" Request with your browser traffic: On
#### Security
- Standard protection
- Always use secure connections: On
## Search engine
- Search engine used in address bar: Qwant or any other
privacy respecting search engine like DuckDuckGo, Startpage etc.
- Web Discovery Project: Off

- Offer to save passwords: Off
- Auto Sign-in: Off
