# Microsoft Edge Privacy Settings
Go to Settings
## Profiles
#### Microsoft Rewards
- Earn Microsoft Rewards in Microsoft Edge: Off
#### Share browsing data with other Windows features
- Share browsing data with other Windows features: Off
#### Microsoft Wallet
Click on `Open Wallet` > Settings
- Save and fill payment info: Off
- Show Express checkout on sites when you shop: Off
- Track your order status: Off
- Offer to save passwords: Off
- Autofill passwords and passkeys: Off
- Save and fill basic info: Off
NOTE 1: Never save passwords in browsers. Use a password manager instead. Check out [recommendations, alternatives & reviews](https://github.com/StellarSand/privacy-settings#recommendations-alternatives--reviews).
NOTE 2: Never save payment info in browsers. A password manager can be used to also save payment information.

- First click on `Manage search engines` > Add > Add a privacy respecting search engine here like DuckDuckGo, StartPage, Brave etc.

- Click on 3 dots > Select `Make default`
- Search on new tabs uses search box or address bar: Address bar (if `Search box` is selected it will continue searching with Bing as the search engine)
