- Use secure DNS >
  - On
  - Choose another provider > Quad9/NextDNS/Cloudflare or select Custom and provide URL for other secure DNS from [this list](https://privacyguides.org/providers/dns/)
- "Do Not Track": On
- Allow privacy-preserving product analytics (P3A): Off
- Automatically send crash reports: Off
- Automatically send daily usage ping to Brave: Off
- Autocomplete searches and URLs: Off
- Show top sites in autocomplete: Off
- Show Brave suggested sites in autocomplete: Off

- Enable Brave News: Off



## Search engines
- Standard Tab: DuckDuckGo or any other privacy respecting search engine like Startpage etc.
- Private Tab: DuckDuckGo or any other privacy respecting search engine like Startpage etc.



## Passwords
- Save passwords: Off
- Auto Sign-in: Off
